Very unique idea and the mechanic designed is a great way to communicate it. The immedaite feedback, that has been discussed there already, is that the timer is far too short. It's very difficult to read in so short amount of time. That said, it's a very solid idea and stands on it's own. Well done!

Thank you for the kind words. :)

I will add an options screen in the next release. I might add a speed slider and other difficulty options.

I really like the concept of this game, having to balance your attention between the 2 different aspects of the game was a good design choice.  My only relevant criticism is that its pretty tough.  Have you considered having a screen after losing that shows the questions that were asked and the players responses?  It could add a bit of humor to the game for the players to know how poorly they were at conversing.  It would also make it easier to progress in the game, as players would get familiar with the questions/answers faster.

The game over screen is  a great idea! I will probably implement something like it. As for the difficulty, we do plan to make it increase gradually or perhaps have a few different levels with varying difficulties. Thank you for playing. :)

Humorous endeavor, almost impossible to succeed just due to reading speed, maybe that's what you were going for though? I found myself just responding with the shortest answers because they were the least rude and quickest to process haha I definitely think it could use some tightening up though, a bit more time to respond, a bit more appealing interface, and a bit more leeway in walking area. Nice work though!

Thank you for the feedback. I will keep those things in mind. Sadly, we didn't manage to get an artist for the jam, so for now it's all programmer art. ;)

This was fun!

It goes by so fast I just have to use vague context clues to figure out what I'm saying, and when I get too good, bam! Hit by a car. Keeps me humble.

Overall, a good game!

Thank you very much. Yes, that's what we were going for!
